Today marks the 163rd anniversary of your sacrifice. All the reflections left after my initial one in 2006 are truly wonderful to see and to know your family honored you as the City and Police Department of Fall River memorialized you is heartwarming.

You were a pioneer in Massachusetts law enforcement and a true hero.

God Bless and may your eternal rest remain peaceful, Brother.
