Trooper McClendon may God bless you, your family, and those who are close to you. It's always nice to see a brown shirt roll up on our traffic stops or assist us in one of our pursuits. You will be missed, but not forgotten. Take care brother.

Love and condolences to the family and friends of a man who was a true example of what it is to be dedicated to the things you love. We will all miss the 11:45 phone calls with your voice on the other line asking us "WHATS FOR LUNCH DUDE". Thank you for your friendship and dedication to serving faithfully as a guardian and protector of God's people. You will be with us in our hearts forever.

I worked with Bill at Moodys last year. I knew him from that and he worked the highways in this area. He was a good man and will be missed, he was always ready to go to work and eager to get the "bad guys". The Law Enforcement community lost a good cop today. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, especially the children he spoke of so fondly.

God bless you brother, your family and friends. Although I did not know Tpr. McClendon personally, I know he is my brother. Being a Trooper is dangerous, but can be rewarding. "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they are the children of God". What an awesome promise! Even God, in all his greatness, realizes the need for the peacemaker, and rewards according to his promise.
