I had the pleasure of participating in a Sergeant promotional process in January for the Houston Police Department. I was quite impressed with the candidates that I encountered and the Officers/Sergeants I was able to talk with about their work in Houston. I am so sad to hear about this fine officer. I sincerely pray that God will provide the necessary comfort and care for the family in the days ahead. May God Bless you!

Officer Johnson;
You have now received the ultimate promotion. You have been promoted to work for the Almighty God for a new HPD...Heaven's Police Department. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family, co-workers, friends, and to the citizens of Houston. Whenever an officer goes down, we all lose. Although you are gone, you WILL NEVER be forgotten. Rest in peace, my brother, and may God look over and protect those you have left behind, and your fellow brothers and sisters of the Houston Police Department.

My prayer was that this was not to ever happen again to any of our fellow brothers or sisters protecting our streets. It saddens our hearts to see it happen yet once again to another fine soldier. Though I never got to meet you or your family, reading about the loving things left here about your true character have and has reminded me so much of my brother! Truly you two must have known one another. HPD Ofc. Charles Clark. Know we have cried tears for you and your family for the heartfelt pain that your wife, children, family and co-workers and others that were blessed by you coming into thier lives, are facing now from losing you. May Lord's Angels wrap thier wings around your family, protect them and bring them comfort. Your in our thoughts and prayers through this difficult time. Rest in peace my brother!
