I have been where you fear to go…
I have seen what you fear to see…
I have done what you fear to do…
All these things I’ve done for you.
I am the one you lean upon…
The one you cast your scorn upon…
The one you bring your troubles to…
All these people I’ve been for you.
The one you ask to stand apart…
The one you feel should have no heart…
The one you call the man in blue…
But I am human
Just like you.

Policeman's Prayer

As I perform my duties
And do my very best
To keep my fellowman from harm
And put their mind to rest.

Use my skills and judgment
To help and honor mankind
Please keep me safe from danger
God's face I'll always find.

I give my life to my work
Some people don't understand
As I face danger and fear each day
I help my fellowman.

I stand ready at each and every call
Not looking for glory each day
Yet putting my life on the line
And paving a safer way.

So when you see a policeman
Ask God to watch him from above
For he is out there protecting you
He needs your support and your love.-Ginny Bryant-

Rest in peace brother in blue, we'll take it from here.

Rodney- I feel that I am a better person for knowing you. Growing up around you and all of the guys was a big influence in my life. It is a big part of why I became a cop. I miss all the "get togethers" we have had through the years. :) You are deeply missed and loved. I know I feel better knowing my boy is up there watching down on me.

Patrol those streets of gold with your chest out and head held high.

To the family, coworkers and friends of Officer Johnson: People will tell you that time will heal - Time does NOT heal...it simply makes things easier to deal with. I am the wife of a fallen officer that has dealt with the pain, the denial, and the disbelief of what happened to our loved one. Please, rest assured, that your loved one is now surrounded by the hundreds of law enforcement officers that have also given the ultimate sacrifice. They will, together, take care of all of us by patroling the streets of Heaven.
May God bless each of you in your loss and sorrow. My son and I will be praying for you.
