Here we are many years later and you are still not forgotten. Law Enforcement back then was especially dangerous and there you were patrolling the city at night most likely by yourself or with little to no backup. You are a hero.

God Bless Night Watchman Henry Joslin. He, and others like him were pioneers in American Law Enforcement. Even as simple as this situation presented itself, some other law enforcement officer learned something that made him safer when he took to the streets on patrol and could have saved their lives. Damned be the gutless pig who assassinated this officer and removed a father and husband from his family.

Dear Henry:
It took 101 years for you to get the recogition that you so richly deserve. Thank you for being there at a time when America needed lawmen who were honest and brave. The need still exists today, and we all try to fulfill that need as well as you did.
Rest in peace brother.
