GOD BLESS YOU ALL, YOUR WIFE, BABY, FAMILY AND FELLOW OFFICERS. IT BREAKS MY HEART TO HEAR OF THESE SENSELESS DEATHS AT THE HANDS OF SUCH SCUM. I WILL SHED TEARS FOR MY SON WHO WAS ALSO GUNNED DOWN THIS FEB. AND FOR YOUR JOE. TOO MANY NY POLICE OFFICERS ARE BEING TAKEN FROM THEIR FAMILIES. ISN'T IT ABOUT TIME TO REINSTATE THE DEATH PENALTY FOR COP KILLERS?

JOE THERE IS NOT MUCH MORE THAT I CAN SAY THAT HAS NOT BEEN SPOKEN OR WRITTEN. YOU WERE ONE HELL OF A TROOPER! AND A ROLE MODEL FOR ALL TROOPERS WHO ARE ENTERING DIVISION. YOU WILL BE TRULEY MISSED, THE GOOD GUYS GOT KNOCKED DOWN BUT WE WILL WIN THE BATTLE. REST IN PEACE I KNOW YOU WILL KEEP A WATCH OVER THE DETAIL AND SEE A SUCESSFUL CONCLUSION TO THE OPERATION. YOU HAVE UNITED A STATE TO SEE THAT JUSTICE IS SERVED.

To Trooper Longobardo's family and his co-workers, I wish you peace and treasured memories.

To the family and friends of the scum that shot these officers, if it's true that you have helped this murderer evade capture, then I wish you agony, pain, and damnation. Justice would only be fully served if you all could be charged for this Trooper's murder. Trooper Longobardo would most likely still be alive, if you hadn't provided assistance to the scum.

We are so sorry to here about your tragic loss of a loved one in law enforcement. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you in support. As we personally know, sometimes there is little comfort that comes from words. Keep focused as you can on the memories and joyous times for these things may bring you comfort. Rely heavily on family, friends, and other law enforcement. Honor your fallen loved one, for their sacrifice will not be forgotten.
