It was very sad and shocking to read the news that you were gone Joe , we worked alongside you on ODF in New Zealand and got to know you brieflyover that season. You were always the perfect gentleman, had a great sense of humor beautiful smile , it was great to have you at my birthday celebrations and share a few laughs. It was our honor to know you even for a short time.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to your family, friends and workmates ( police and ANG ) Nothing can make this better for them but we hope that their will be some kind of justice in this.

Trooper Longobardo,
It is so sad to hear that you had to leave this world so soon. The way you were gunned down was so cowardly. The perp won't have another seconds' rest from this point on. Either they will come to justice or justice will come to them. God obviously needed you for something else, so please rest peacefully knowing your brothers and sisters are working relentlessly to catch the evildoer who so cowardly took your life. You will not be forgotten.
God keep you close and may He bless all officers who are still here.
