As the police officer stood in front of the LORD,with his shoulders squarred and his shiny badge and shoes. The LORD said how did you stay on the straight and narrow with all that crime on earth, and having seen a officer killed in the line of duty. The officer said i have kept (PSALM ONE) in my mind all my life and kept the faith, knowing people do have goodness in them. There was silence all around the throne of the LORD,even the Saints stood still. Then the LORD said, you have truly been righteous with the people on earth, rest your mind and soul for this place is where you belong!
AMEN
(may this help the people that Trooper Joseph A.Longobardo touched feel alittle better)walk by faith

I know Joseph's sister Dawn and I was only two years into my career here when she told me about him becoming a Trooper. Joseph, I hope to meet ya one day when I get to Heaven. Amazing how a long distance relationship turned into me giving condolence's via computer. To the Longobardo family: I am so sorry for your loss and Joseph is in a much better place now.

Mrs. Longobardo and Family, My prayers have gone up to our Lord in Heaven may you be strengthened and encouraged in this sad day. Joe was a great Airman with whom I served at Andrews. JOe sustained us with his sense of humor. He was a bit mischevious, but in a good way. God Bless you. Thank you for the sacrifice YOU made so Joe could serve this country and our State unselfishly, with honor. We are indebted to you both. Ken Kamholtz, 107th SFS NYANG-USAF

I personally did not know trooper Longobardo but he's a fellow law enforcement officer that lost his life in the line of duty. For that reason I feel the pain like I would if I had loss a member of my department. My department will be sending a funeral detail but I regret I will not be able to attend due to an injury and being on crutches. My heart goes out to his family and certainly his brother and sister troopers. Trooper Longobardo I salute you brother and may you guide other fellow officers that fall in the line of duty as you encounter them in heaven. Once again I salute you my brother and my heart goes out to all affected by your passing.
