I just logged in to my email to see that the creep who killed you has been finally been arrested. I know that the justice system will do their part, but there is nothing that will take away the pain that your family is feeling. I wish the best to your wife and son. Please keep them safe!

Trooper Longobardo,
I am so greatful that the monster that stole you from your family was captured last night...I will continue to pray for your partner, that he may fully recover from his injuries, both physically and emotionally.
On behalf of the Sterling Heights Police Dept, please accept our heartfelt sympathies. Know that you are not alone in your grief. We too experienced this loss just over 2 years ago when our officer was taken from us. Ambushed for his handgun. The US Marshals & 'America's Most Wanted' both played key rolls in our suspects "capture" as well.
To Mrs Longobardo,
No words can ease your pain...this shouldn't have happened to you or your son. Our officer also left behind a wife and a 1 year old daughter. I hope it comforts you to know that she (to this very day) see's her daddy and hears him talking to her. There is something to be said about a child's innocense. Joseph will visit your son in his dreams, and he too will hear his voice and feel his presence.
God Bless you, your son and the entire New York State PD. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Though we are seperated by miles, we are bound by this Thin Blue Line!
Rest in Peace Now HERO...

It is so unbelievably wonderful to come back to see "apprehended" now to the right of "suspect info"
God bless those who continued on to capture the man who took you from your loved ones far too early, and in far too evil a way.
Thank you. I'll never forget.
