R.I.P. Brother, your sacrifice will never be forgotten. Thank you for going where others would not go and doing what others would be scared to do. Today, 6 years after you left us, "A" shift dedicates our watch to you.

Another officer down today, may you meet in the serene place of peace and comfort. It is always more difficult to handle the death of an officer as we know that they have given their lives to save ours. Thank you to the families for the support they give our officers and may god bles you and keep you.

Eric, It has been a while since I checked in with you. Today on the Virginia Tech campus a fellow officer was killed in the line of duty. It seems like yesterday since that tragic day when you gave your life to protect others on the very same campus. I hope and pray that you are resting in peace and your family is doing ok. Continue to keep watch on the blue line family and god bless you.

Eric, I stopped by your memorial last week. I still find it hard to believe how much time has passed since that tragic day. Brother I still miss all the good times we had working together and our frienship. Some times I still get a laugh every time I think of the dispatchers calling us CP 36/CP 66 and the response times that we had racing across town to see who could get there first. Most of the time it was phil beating both of us to the call. I still pray for you and your family. Happy birthday and keep watch on the brothers and sisters and the troops who protect our country at home and abroad.

Eric, A good friend - deputy from Greene County Sheriff's Office Rudy Sprouse visted the law enforcement memorial in Washington DC this past week and sent me photo's of the wall with your name and a picture of you. He also delivered a paper to me with your name that he had copied from the wall of hero's. Still thinking of you brother.

Heroes do live forever in hearts and memories of those left behind. Too sad that you were taken so young with so much left to give and to enjoy, especially time with your lovely daughters. I only know of you through a friend, but my heart aches for you.

Eric, Thank you for your faithful service. Thank you for your humor, many side splitting laughs and your ever so positive tact when we were young men in Army Basic Training. May the peace that surpasses understanding watch over your family and your local brothers in blue (or tan). In Christ, Kevin

Eric, Well another year is ending and and a new year is beginning. I am sitting here thinking about when we would go out on patrol on new years eve and search for DUI drivers,it did not take long before someone on our shift had made an arrest. I still remember working with you like it was yesterday and all the times you would crack a joke. I never forget the officers that had my back. Rest in peace my friend.
