Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Michael Anthony Callin
Deputy Callin,
I cant beleive somebody would act in such a cowardly manner. To intentionally hit a person, an Officer, with a vehicle to avoid a traffic stop. This offender should be removed from this planet in a way that he took your life. To actually see a vehicle approach and feel the fear of that. I will always say " bring back an eye for an eye" God bless you and your entire family. I hope your loss will show the new officers the dangers of traffic stops. Routine? never.Rest in peace.

To the family, friends, and officers that knew Deputy Callin, my thoughts and prayers are with you as you face the trying times ahead of you. Please know your not alone.
Then the rainstorm came, over me
And I felt my spirit break
I had lost all of my, belief you see
And realized my mistake
But time through a prayer, to me
And all around me became still
I need love, love's divine
Please forgive me now I see that I've been blind
Give me love, love is what I need to help me know my name
Through the rainstorm came sanctuary
And I felt my spirit fly
I had found all of my reality
I realize what it takes
'Cause I need love, love's divine
Please forgive me now I see that I've been blind
Give me love, love is what I need to help me know my name
Oh I, don't bet (don't bend), don't break (don't break)
Show me how to live and promise me you won't forsake
'Cause love can help me know my name
Well I try to say there's nothing wrong
But inside I felt me lying all along
But the message here was plain to see
Believe me
'Cause I need love, love's divine
Please forgive me now I see that I've been blind
Give me love, love is what I need to help me know my name
Oh I, don't bet (don't bend), don't break (don't break)
Show me how to live and promise me you won't forsake
'Cause love can help me know my name
Love can help me know my name

I am so sad to hear of your ordeal and passing. I pray now that healing will come to your family and friends. I am so glad to see that you were a Christian, and had led others to Christ. I know you have been taken into the fold and heard "Well done, my good and faithful servant." We never met in this life, but I know we will one day. Until then, say hello to my daddy for me. You have joined an elite rank, one that is honored, respected and never forgotten. Thank you, Sir for your service, dedication, and sacrific. God bless you and those who loved you.

Deputy Callin,
May God wrap your family in his loving arms and help them through the coming days. You are a hero. I can not believe someone would intentionally run a deputy over to avoid a speeding ticket or a no ops violation. And yet your brothers and sisters in blue will be right back out there tomorrow trying to keep the public safe. Watch over them, unfortunately you now know just how corrupt this world is.

May you continue to keep watch over your family, friends, and co-workers from above during this difficult time...and always. God bless all of you.

To the family and fellow officers of Deputy Callin. My thoughts and thousands of others are with you, the scarifice made every day by Law Enforcement officers to protect the public often goes without notice untill one of us pays the price paid by Deputy Callin.
