It is really something to find an account of your great great great great grandfather and how he served the people of Texas, I never knew him but I’ve heard stories passed down by my grandmother.

I have read so many things about you, Norman and your father Zadock. I am very proud to know that you are in my family. I know it was the way--to go back, take care of Normans wife and kids. Thank you for your sacrifice.
I married a deupty myself and work as a Dispatcher. RIP and God Bless, Thank you for your service not only as a law enforcement officer, but to Texas. Texas is what it is because of the sacrifices of wonderful, strong, god fearing men like you.
I never knew you, but I will always be proud to call you my FAMILY.
With all of my heart..
