Remembering you on the anniversary of your ultimate sacrifice. I remember working that night and rushing to the hospital only to be over come with grief. This job is not easy and losses are sometimes too much to bear. I will always remember your infectious smile and cheerful nature.

Hi Nick, it’s been awhile…think of you often and miss you more than you know. I got something at In and Out and the total was $6.12, I had to look up and smile, you’re always with us. Thank you for your laughs, and pineapple Hawaiian pizza from San Bruno Round Table, not to mention peanut shells everywhere

We still miss your contagious smile! I so enjoyed our conversations and looked forward to working with you each and every day. You were a light of hope on a dark day. I know you and your dad are smiling down on us from the heavens. We miss you Nick!

Saint Nick - Where has the time gone since your smile rested upon my heart dear brother? 13 years as of tomorrow. The pain is always fresh on these "anniversaries".
So, I read something ... I liked it. I'll repeat it here.
"When you think of them, think of them as living, let them only die once. They are still living."
Yes you are Nick .... ALWAYS and FOREVER

Hi Nick, haven't been on here in a long time, but you know you're always in my thoughts and stories. I've kept our picture up over 10 years, where it will remain. We've had rough patches over the last few years, I can't help but to think you & Isaac got us through them. On a funny note, I was watching a tv show and the chef said there will never be pineapple on any of his pizzas! I looked up at you and laughed- you loved those Round Table Maui pizzas! We celebrated our 241st USMC Birthday yesterday, oohrah! Wishing you smiles, hugs, and thank you for your service to our country and City! God bless...

Dearest Nick,
I can't believe it's almost been ten years. We used to talk or text every single day. I miss you so much and there's not a day that goes by that I'm not reminded of what a loss I feel without you. I miss your smile, your jokes, the way you walked on your tippy toes sometimes;) but most of all I miss your friendship. It's irreplaceable. Rest in peace.
Love you.

Hard to believe that it's been ten years. A lot has changed and somethings never will. The world sure could use your infectious smile and your big heart.

Nick,
Its coming up on 10 years, Man how time has passed! I still hink of the last time we saw each other on the 5th floor, as you came out of FOB, after signing in for court, I could see your smile from the other end of the hall, After we said a few things, and as you walked away, you turned and with that smile, you stated "Hey Don't Forget Me for Thanksgiving Sgt. at Canon Kip"..... that was Tue. the next day, you were just doing your job, and you were gone.....God Bless you My Friend, You are missed!!

i took my 11 year old son to Nick's grave site on 07/26/2014. We later attended a ceremony in his honor that evening at the station he served. He was only 3 when Nick was killed. i was fortunate to make it home that night as i witnessed Nick get killed. I always remind my boy of how great a person Nick was and how much I miss him. It's still very difficult knowing Nick is not here. God bless you allways.
