Deputy Piquette, It's amazing to see your mother's dedication and hard work to keep your spirit alive. Because of your mother, father, family and your new extended brothers and sisters from Law Enforcement your memory will never be forgotten. Law enforcement is a very dangerous job. As a recruit in the LASD academy and as time goes by, i see that this career is not for everyone, it takes a very special person to do this job.
On June 30,2016 my class and i had the honor to participate in Deputy Piquette's 10 year memorial run. During the run we as a class felt full of pride and motivation because every single step we took that morning was in memory and to honor Deputy Piquette.
Deputy Piquette, I want to thank you for being an inspiration and a role model, not just for all of us in class 415 but for this whole department. I also want to thank everyone who made possible for class 415 to participate in Deputy Piquette's run....
