We are so sorry to here about your tragic loss of a loved one in law enforcement. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you in support. As we personally know, sometimes there is little comfort that comes from words. Keep focused as you can on the memories and joyous times for these things may bring you comfort. Rely heavily on family, friends, and other law enforcement. Honor your fallen loved one, for their sacrifice will not be forgotten.

Scott was a man who overcame many trials to become a great police officer and husband. Though I could not say that I knew him well, he and I attended many functions through his wife Alison.
His loss will have a great effect on all of us, as we know how much he loved his family and supported all of his family's efforts. May God keep him in a special place, as he will be remembered with thanks and admiration by us who knew him.

From me to you, Sgt Hanson:
What I thought was a mountain..
was just a hill...
from Heaven's point of view.
I waited so long
for the long night to end..
Now the day is here and I can see you.
I'm so thankful to be free
from a body that was broken and useless to me.
I am well and made whole.
I have a new body that won't ever grow old.
That mountain I climbed is now just a hill..
I can run, I can move and I will!!!
Thank God for my new life.
There's no pain or heartache or strife...
Just peace,
Since my release..
I can look back and see it all..
From Heaven's point of view.
