Lt., you died performing an honorable service. You helped keep us safe for many years and that will not forgotten. The only consolation I could possibly think of...is that you died in the company of your son. However, I am greatly saddened by your son's, and your families, loss. I hope they will recover and remember that you were a shining light in a dark world. You were not here on this earth in vain. Death is only a transition to a greater existence. God Bless you.

May God grant you eternal peace. May He be with your family and friends and give them comfort and strength. May He give your son a complete and speedy recovery. We will never forget the many times we worked with you. Our hearts break knowing that you answered the Last Call too soon in life. You were a courageous and caring deputy. You set a good example to those that joined the department after you did. You will always live in our hearts and memories. Rest well, friend.

We are so sorry to here about your tragic loss of a loved one in law enforcement. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you in support. As we personally know, sometimes there is little comfort that comes from words. Keep focused as you can on the memories and joyous times for these things may bring you comfort. Rely heavily on family, friends, and other law enforcement. Honor your fallen loved one, for their sacrifice will not be forgotten.

For many years I have worked in and around James. He is a good man dedicated to his profession. He cared about his community and the deputies he supervised. This is a terrible loss. May his son continue to improve and may his wife find peace and comfort in the knowledge that her husband was deeply respected. James keep heaven's Streets safe for our loved ones!
