we always talk about the criminals who so often take the life of our heros, but here it was someone who had sworn to do a job with a badge, and he disgraced his position, and others who hold that very same position. Special Agent Sentner, it is unfair that one of the supposed "brothers in blue" went to the extremes that he did, and that you ultimately had to pay for his crimes. You are a true hero!

No amount of words from any of us can ease your grief and suffering at the lost of your husband, and bother officer. But remain strong in your faith and know god as a plan for us all. Take comforted in knowing we will all see William again when we walk the streets of heaven. To the family of Special Agent William (Buddy) Sentner I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom. Every law enforcement agency across the country feels you’re lost as well, we to have lost a bother in the fight. So it’s with a heavy heart we send our deepest sympathy to your family and the United States Department of Justice. My god blesses you and your family. Rest in peace bother and know you will never be forgotten. This is so hard to believe that someone with a badge would do this.

It is so unbelieveable that an officer would do this to one of his own brothers in blue. My sympathies to the family and friends of Agent Sentner. He was obviously dedicated and well-respected. Simply tragic and so totally unnecessary.... may justice be served!

To the wife of Agent Sentner - please accept my condolences on the traggic death of your husband. I am sure that you are very proud of him and of all the sacrifices that he made for you and for all of us as citizens. I hope that all of your memories of Buddy will be able to sustain you for the coming months/years. Please be well and I will remember you and your husband in my prayers. I know how the news affected me and I sent my son an email asking him if he always wears a vest b/c he goes into correctional facilities here in the Phila area!

How sad of was to hear the news of Special Agent Sentner. The circumstances sicken me to the core, but ultimately, he was doing his job and I am thankful there are people like him giving the ultimate sacrifice. God be with the Senter Family, "Buddy" is certainly in a better place!!

There are no words to express the panolpy of emotions your loss has evoked. Though our contacts were only in passing, your quiet and demur exterior giving way to reveal your great wit and humility, is the way I will remember you, the man. Through your sacrifice, you will be remembered by many as a hero and I am confident positive change will come from this tragic incident. Know that your sacrifice will not be in vein.
May the roads rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sunshine warm your face
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand
and may God care for and guide your loved ones though this difficult time.

Eternal rest grant unto Buddy Sentner, O Lord; and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
Death is nothing at all.
It does not count.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
Everything remains as it was.
The old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged.
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by the old familiar name.
Speak of me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no sorrow in your tone.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effort
Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was.
There is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner.
All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost.
One brief moment and all will be as it was before.
How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting, when we meet again.

I pray that your family finds peace during this most horrible time in their lives. All law enforcement should be wary of the wolves amongst us. Bad guys are bad guys, regardless of their clothing or title. SA Sentner honored his oath. May God have mercy on his soul.
