To Dale's family... Please know my prayers are being lifted for you, and my heart is breaking with you. There is no doubt Dale's memory will live forever - a man of his character is never forgotten!!

To the men and women in law enforcement - this was a fine man to pattern your career after - not only did he care about what he did, but he was honest and stood up for what he believed in!!

Thanks to each of you for putting your life on the line each and every day like Dale did, not knowing what might lie on the other side. It takes a special person to fill the shoes of a peace officer and Dale represented his position well.

May God give peace and comfort to each of you, family, friends, fellow officers, and all those who were touched by Dale, may his memory live forever.

As time comes by you will begin to heal from the emotional scars by the abscence of your loved one. Time does help to heal but so does leaning on each other. We just lost one of our own a few months ago and it does help to lean on each other for help. Keep the memory of Constable Geddie alive by taking up the load and keep on charging ahead. I knew Dale for a relatively short time, but he had a welcoming presence that made you feel like you were his best friend. I looked forward to a long friendship, and I counted on his words of wisdom. It is impossible to describe Dale in these pages as all of his friends have tried to do. But as one person wrote, you “experienced” Dale. Good, honest, trustworty… he was the kind of person we should all strive to be, and he will be sorely missed.
