Chief Miller,
On today, the 75th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just for your Community but for our Country as well when you served during World War II. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 61st anniversary of your death. I am privileged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Uncle Slick I will always remember you and the way you used to play with me. Mother still has the picture of you in your uniform standing next to your new 1949 ford police car with the spot light and siren. I recall being at the trial of the woman that shot you held at the courthouse in Franklin. There are many more memories that I have kept close for over 60 year.
