This is the best way for me to let my feelings out.I am so sick of hearing about about bad officers. There's more good ones than bad. My brother was a good one along with Mike.

How I miss you so much. The pain of losing you will never go away. I promise to love you to the rest of my life. I have no choice! I have come to the conclusion that there is no getting over you. You still consume me. I love you then , now and forever!

I looked for you for years Bill, I never knew you went into Law Enforcement. As I sit here the years peel away and I can hear that silly Tarzan yell you gave every morning when we were in the field. If I can find them, I will contact your mother and your wife and tell them what a great friend you were. You had a heart as big as the world, and you never let a friend down. You are missed.

I was dumbstruck to find your obituary my brother, I did not even know you had gone into law enforcement. I will always remember our time together in the Ranger Battalion and in the 2/21st...especially that silly Tarzan yell when you woke up in the mornings when we were in the field. I looked for you for years, and I am sorry that I never found you. If I can, I will contact your wife and mother and let them know what a good friend you were. You are missed.

I am saddened and angered to hear the news of the men who murdered Dep. Jones making a mockery of this incident by posting photos of the shooting in their front yard. This is an outrage, and I hope these two brothers face justice as it should have been delivered. It is important that we remember the families of both Deputy Jones and his retired LE friend who was also murdered. I cannot imagine the stress and anquish this family is experiencing at this time. Please remember these families in your prayers.

Bill,
I was surfing the internet and decided to look you up. I was heart broken with what I found. I will always remember the great times we had as roommates in the Police Academy. You know how I hated the running, probably won't have made it without your encouragment. There has been and will always be a special place in my heart for you. My belated condolences to your family and brother officers.
Rest in Peace my friend

Hi Bill,
I recently saw you in a dream. I don't remember what the dream was about, but I remember that you were standing next to me and smiling, so with whatever was happening to me in the dream, I knew I was going to be all right because you were with me.
As an only child, I had to find my own brothers and sisters and you were my big brother (and no one will ever take that place from you) and one of my dearest friends. Though sometimes I didn't see you much for years I always knew you were there and that gave me strength.
I know justice wasn't done for you or Mike but recently Mike's mother went after the Houston Bros. and won a multi-million dollar settlement against them. (Whether she gets the money or not, she got a little justice back for the injustice done to both you and her son.) She showed us that some justice can be found whether or not it is in the form we expect it to be. It had to be hard on her, but she held strong and struck a blow for both of you!
So, its not over for the Houston Brothers yet! Not by a long shot!
Rest well big brother, you of all people deserve it. I'll see you in another dream sometime soon!

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 6th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace
I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace. Thanks to your family and friends for sharing their memories and devotion to you through their reflections.
