Officer Gary J. Buro,
I have never met you, but wish to thank you for being the kind of person who was willing to make the sacrifice you did. It has been my dream my entire life to be a Police Officer, and now within the next few months my dream will be realized. I am deeply saddened that i will not be able to serve with you, but take comfort knowing that you now walk the beat in Heaven, and will be watching over all your brothers and sisters in blue. Thank you again, and to Officer Buro's family, my prayers are with you.
