This is a beautiful site to come and visit and every time I do it makes me more aware of the sacrifice that all of you have given to protect us. All of the stories here from each officer are so heroic in their own way and most of them are never known unless you live in that area. Time just passes on but time will never distance my love for you.

The support and help we got from your family and friends was a tremendous help for such a successful golf tournament on Sunday. I still remember all the times spent in the academy. I also remember our final driving evaluation, when we were finishing FTO and we picked up pizza and went to the Solvay fire dept. to eat lunch, and meeting your fire dept friends, your old fire dept. pictures. You were an amazing, and special person and I am proud to have known you.

Well it's taken a long time for me to post anything on here because every time I do, I'm too filled with sadness, anger, and so many other emotions. So I sit at work watching the appeal recently and I've come to notice the main point people have forgotten. Right or wrong, you were a Trooper, Father, and Husband. And if that's not enough, your spare time was spent volunteering at your local fire departments. Your smile could light up any room and I miss that so much! I would get so happy to see your yellow jeep pull up as I knew I had a great friend on the truck with me that I knew I could count on to get the job done.
