Reflections for Trooper Craig J. Todeschini

Hi Craig. I was at the fair today and saw all of these troopers there and i couldn't help but think of you and it made me sad. I just wanted to let you know that we all think of you often and we all miss you. I saw your dad too, because when we parked he was there to let us in. So I just wanted to say hi and tell you that. Bye we love you!

Craig,

You are a true hero. A worker, Classmate of 187th session, Trooper. Your heroism will never be forgotten. We all put ourselves in harms way daily and you are our role model.

Ciao Craig, non ci conosciamo, spulciando internet ho saputo della tua morte, mi ha attirato il tuo cognome tipico della provincia dove abito. Sono orgoglioso delle tue origini italiane. Riposa in pace.

Trooper Todeschini- we have not forgotten your sacrifice that day in April. I think of you often, although we had never met. I also think of your wife, two small children and the rest of your family. You were a colleague of my husband's although you had never met him either. Watch over all of them and give them the strength and the courage to move forward. Please look down on all of the Troopers, as it has been a devasting year within the NYSP community.

Trooper Craig J. Todeschini you have an amazing family. I live close to where you were killed and know a few troopers who worked with you. I watched your Wife and Father in law tonight on the news. I am proud of your family and how they have acted in their time of sorrow. I am sorry if this doesnt make too much sence. There are many things I want to tell you and many things and thoughts I want your family to read. I am not good with words but I want your family and all the other troopers to know, I too will shed a tear for you tonight. God bless you and your family. I am so sorry,
Jeremy

Trooper Todeschini- you would be so proud of your wife, Kristi. What a brave young women. I don't think that I could ever be as brave and as courageous as her. She has been lobbying in honor of you, trying to get a law to make it a felony to evade a police officer. All of her hard work paid off. You should be so proud of her! Thank you for your service with the NYSP. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten!

Dear Craig,
Happy Birthday! June 15, 1980 what a very special day that was for Dad and I. It was Father's Day and what a gift for Dad. Craig, we know you're looking down on us every minute because your special angels have been giving us signs. This is what's keeping us going. It's amazing and the most recent one is when Dad caught the baseball at the stadium on Sunday night with one hand. He was so proud. Craig, I want you to know that you will never be forgotten and so many people miss you. You worked so hard all your life and knowing you, you're not sitting idle up in heaven. I'm sure you and Grandpa Leo have a great place together. Put in a good word for your family and friends down here and one day we'll all be together again and laugh and have fun. You're forever in our thoughts and prayers. Love You, Mom & Dad.

I come to the ODMP often to remember my late fiancé Dennis. Everytime I come here it breaks my heart to know that yet another officer has fallen and that yet another family has to live their lives without the man they loved. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved Trooper Todeschini, especially to his wife. Know that you are not alone in the "journey" that you walk. Should you ever need anything please don't hesitate to contact me. The Davis Co. Sheriff's Office in Iowa will always know how to reach me. You will be in my thoughts.

From reading all the reflections left for Craig, he sounds like he was a great man with a beautiful spirit. Those of you who knew him in life were so blessed to have been able to share in it. I hope that you will all continue to find a way to celebrate and remember Craig's life and the MAN that he was. Remember that Craig's life was about so much more than the way he died. Craig will continue to live on as long as we continue to remember him.

Trooper Todeschini, thank you for helping to make this world a little safer for us all. YOU will not be forgotten. Please continue to watch over all of us as only you can. If you happen to bump into my fiancé Dennis up there give him a big hug for me and the kids. It's been three years but we still miss him terribly.

Wishing you brighter and better days,

Jocelyne :)

Craig, I'll never forget your smile in Operation Impact roll call. Those of us at SPD that had the honor of working with you will never forget that and your sense of humor. I remember worrying out loud about how I was ever going to be able to get all of my movers on a Tuesday night in the middle of winter. About an hour later, you called me to come meet you at a stop, where you gave me about 10. It was a funny act of kindness that seemed to represent your whole personality. There are so many people here whose lives you have touched forever and positively impacted. I just found out that your baby girl is finally here. Rest assured, she has thousands of guardian angels among the family of the thin blue line. Godspeed Craig, we have the watch......
