We all can't believe its been a year. And although we wish we could shoulder the pain that your family is feeling today, we know that they have to rely on God's grace to see them through somehow. There is so much here that you must be so proud of, and we hope to continue to make you proud as you watch over us. God Bless!

You know you are truely missed. I cannot thank you anymore for your duties. What people don't know is that any man in uniform puts there lives at risk everyday. My father serving as an Onondaga County Sheriff, Brother Tom (who you have worked with) Syracuse Police, Brother Joe Syracuse Fire, Husband Joshua Nowak, currently serving US Army overseas. I admire your bravery, but most of all I miss your witty humor.

It is upsetting to hear that it took your death to change the law. A positive came out of a negative, for that your family and friends should be proud. Your mark will be forever left on the state of New York.
