For over 470 hours you worked in support of your brothers. You did not give up and you did not run for safety. You stayed and you did what had to be done because you are a cop and thats what cops do. RIP

Thank you, Det. James Zadroga, for your dedication to God, your family and, ultimately, your country.

Your bravery in the face of such odds, your determination to never give up, your help in the recovery processes at the World Trade Center was more than should be expected, but you faced it with courage and compassion for your fellow man, and because it was the right thing to do.

Your sacrifice was not in vain, and you will never be forgotten. Your family remains in my prayers.

God speed and God bless. Rest in peace, Det. Zadroga.

God Bless America.

Thank you for your sacrifice. I know you worked as hard as you could to find your fellow officers, firefighters, and the victims. It is comforting to know that you gave your all to recover what was left. May you have peace as you join the ones you looked so hard for. You are an admirable man and a hero to all.

To the family of Zadroga I offer my prayers and thoughts. I saw a story about his condition and how much pain he was in. He is a hero in my eyes the thing that grabs me is we are the same age. I just wanted to let you know how I felt and he was a brave man at the scene of one of the worst situations any civil servant could have handled but he ended up suffering for so long. Just remember he is with angels and his fallen friends.

Well Jim they gave you the medal of valor we went last Sunday and Tylerann was so excited because everytime we go everyone makes a fuss over her she is beautiful. Thursday she graduated day care and she did twist and shout boy is she an actress. Well I know you can see what she's doing all the time because the star right next to the moon is you, and the one a little further left is mommy. The other day we had to take her to the heart Dr. but thank god everything was okay and when we heard the results it started to pour rain she says my dada told me that when it rains that's him crying, I said see he's crying cause you got a good report. Well my baby I think and cry for you everyday but I know what I have to do I have to take care of your baby.
