My partner and I just watched a documentary about you, P.O. Bevel. We know how terribly wrong things can go on this job. You are not forgotten. And we will definitely think of you on May 17. RIP Brother. We will see you again someday. God bless you.

I totally agree with you. Killing a police officer is one of the worst crime ever. The evil woman shouldn't be allowed to breath.

I'm watching "Deadly Women" the woman that took your life deserved the death penalty! She deserved to die the same way you did. How could her sentence be overturned. It's okay as she will meet her maker and will have to explain her actions. She executed him and she deserved the same punishment!

My prayers and gratitude goes out to the family and friends of Officer Bevel. I viewed the case on TV recently and I was appalled that the killer got life in prison. That monster shoud be on death row !!!! I am a child of a murdered victim, I know the pain, hurt, disruption of life as you know it and the lifelong grief, BUT hold on, the justice system will keep her locked up forever, she is a danger to society

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 29th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

I pray for solace for all that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace. Thanks to your friends for sharing their memories and devotion to you through their reflections.

Rest In Peace.

Gary, i grew up with you and you were always a good example for the kids in the neighborhood. Thanks for coming to my basketball game in Jacksonville. I was a long way from home, to hear your voice in the stands made all the difference in the world.

I knew Officer Bevel only from memories of co-workers. This woman was convicted and sentenced to death for taking a life. It should not have been reversed and she certainly should not be eligible for parole. Keep cop killers in prison!

A convicted officer killer who has such little regard for peace and justice and is willing to end a life that protects it has no place in our civilized society. Please reconsier your sentencing.

Only 29 years old, and shot 6 times - It would be obscene for his killer to be released to enjoy life.

Covicted killers of law Enforcement officers should in no way be allowed parole . They obviously have no respect for the officers who attempt to uphold the law or for life in general. Thank you for your consideration on this matter

Convicted cop killers should never be given parole as their sentence, there has never been any reason for someone taking the life of somone doing their duty. Thank you in advance for reconideration on this sentencing. Monty R Willis
