My prayer go out to the family and friends of Deputy James McGrane. In all law enforcment job they always need to be careful of the next car there way to pull over or the house there going out to. You never know who will be behind the wheel or behind that door. I have so much respect for you all. And as a parent and wife that knock is one we never want to get. At times like this we never no what to say. But I do know the Deputy McGrane is in a better place. And after reading about him he went doing what he loved. It will just take time for everyone to heal. And the most important thing for everyone is when Michael Paul if found dead or alive we all will rest better. Well for now may her rest in peace. To the family of Deputy McGrane, my prayers are with you. May God Bless you all.

I said, "God, I hurt."
And God said, "I know."
I said, "God, I cry a lot."
And God said,
"That is why I gave you tears."
I said, "God, I am so depressed."
And God said,
"That is why I gave you Sunshine."
I said, "God, life is so hard."
And God said,
"That is why I gave you loved ones."
I said, "God, my loved one died."
And God said,
"so did mine "
I said, "God, it is such a loss."
And God said,
"I saw mine nailed to a cross."
I said, "God, but your loved one lives."
And God said,
" So does yours."
I said, "God, where are they now?"
And God said,
"Mine is on My right and JAMES is in the Light."
I said, "God, it hurts."
And God said,
"I know."

"Blessed are the peacemakers; for they shall be called the children of God."

Although your assignment is complete here, we know you will continue your patrol from up above, as that is the type of person you are. Your dedication to your service, community, and family is most admirable.

Thank you Deputy McGrane and your brothers and sisters of law enforcement for your true dedication to the citizens in which you protect, as we will not ever forget you and the sacrifice you made for us. May the Lord watch over your family which includes your law enforcement family, and comfort them during this time of sorrow.

Rest peacefully, after a job well done.

I was in Albuquerque for a training the day this occurred and as it is when any officer is killed in the line of duty, we were terribly saddened. I pray for the McGrane family and know they are well taken care of by their remaining law enforcement family. As APO's we face the same type of dangerous individuals and feel like one of our own is taken from us when a law enforcement officer is killed. I send my deepest condolences to the family and pray not one more officer will have to give his life for others. Be safe out there!!

As I woke up and heard the news of Deputy McGranes death, it brought back all the memories of losing my brother last August 18th. I know the pain your wife and family are enduring at this time and my heartfelt thoughts are with them. As our family was taken care of by all of Michael's friends and fellow officers so will your family.
