No Regrets
We may never understand it,
the risks these brave ones take,
but occassionally we see a bit
of the difference their lives make.
Some do it for the action,
others find it a callin'.
All find the satisfaction,
and few become the fallen.
Being an agent is what he loved,
To him as good as it gets.
Law was what he dreamed of,
He would have no regrets.
And though it saddens all of us
to loose him in this way
He knew how an agent must
Live life to the fullest everyday.

Although I did not know Nick personally, I feel as though I did through my husband and all his fellow agents. God Bless to all his family and friends.

Pass Hence

Pass hence, beloved, at the call divine,
Leaving the path we twain have trod;
Pass, and the soul that still is one with thine
Through grief shall learn the way to God.

Nick, I will miss you; the rest of the agents here in Ajo will miss you; many who never got the chance to know you missed the opportunity. I will remember you as a fiercely competitive, hard working, cocky, dedicated, stubborn, and yet, giving person. I will think back and remember situations that will make me smile. I won't go into specifics about what I remember. Some of us have memories that we will share with others who didn't know you and that will help them know a little about you.

Billy Joel sang "only the good die youg" and it is definitely tru in your case. Your parents, family, and friends should know that they raised a special man. I can't compare to Nick in many ways but I will do my part to try and pass on some of Nicks good qualities.

Hey brother,

I didn't get to work with you much, however it was impossible to miss seeing you in and out of the station catching case after case!

You were a dedicated, hard-working agent and above all, I remember that you never complained. You took the long hours, weather, etc all in stride for that is the job we are sworn to do. You made it look so easy, it seems you were definitely in your element here in the Ajo AOR.

When I got back from my days off and heard of your passing, I couldn't believe it. I guess in the back of our minds we all know the dangers, but rarely does it hit this close to home.

Rest In Peace Brother, let us take it from here. God Bless.

May Heavenly Father bless us, comfort us and help us to understand why these things happen to good people.

I want everyone to know that we lost an excellent agent that night. I walked many trails with Nick, always knowing he had my back. Having a partner like him was rare.

Nick, until we meet again, rest in peace. We will take it from here. It will be difficult, but we will try to carry on with the same dedication and effort you always gave.

My deepest sympothy to the family of SPA Greenig and the Agents in the Tucson Sector. It hurts me when I see the loss of any Agent or Officer. It is even more so when it is within the Tucson Sector. Though I am now with ICE a piece of me will always remain with the Tucson Sector and where I served in Naco.

Listen! I am telling you a mystery: We will not all fall asleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed. Because this corruptible must be clothed with incorruptibility, and this mortal must be clothed with immortality. Now when this corruptible is clothed with incorruptibility, and this mortal is clothed with immortality, then the saying that is written will take place: Death has been swallowed up in victory. O Death, where is your victory? O Death, where is your sting? Now the sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!
Therefore, my dear brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord's work, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. - 1 Corinthians 15:51-58
