Your heroism and service is honored today, the 128th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

It is now 2006 and you have been gone since 1883, isn't it a shame that the bad guys still take the lives of our
police officers. You are honored today Marshal Taylor for doing your duty, it is so sad that you were lost at such a young age. May you rest in peace.
