Very sorry for your passing. I just read about how there is a monetary reward for info in your case. That's the morrally bankrupt world that we live in. You were a family man and someone who probably didn't use his badge to his advantage. That's why God wanted you. It's not only a community's loss , but a society's.

Big Fella,
I am thankful for having you in my life. We have shared some wonderful memories together. Playing together as kids, hunting, fishing, camping, softball, and raising our families together were some of the best. It was my privilege to have you in my wedding and an honor to be in yours. I just wanted to thank you for all the times you helped me out,for introducing me to Mandy, and for being such a playful and lovable Uncle to my kids. You will always be our HERO.

A POLICEMAN'S PRAYER
BROTHER WHEN YOU WEEP FOR ME REMEMBER THAT IT WAS MEANT TO BE.
LAY ME DOWN AND WHEN YOU LEAVE REMEMBER I'LL BE AT YOUR SIDE...IN EVERY DARK AND DREARY ALLEY I'LL BE THERE AS YOU SLOWLY TREAD, ON EVERY STREET CORNER IN THE DRIVING SNOW I'LL HOLD YOUR COAT AND YOU WILL KNOW.
IN PLACES WHERE THE DEVIL IS AFRAID TO WALK...
AT DOORS WHERE YOU MEET RESISTANCE...
IN HOUSES WHERE CHILDREN HIDE,,,
YOU KNOW I'LL BE AT YOUR SIDE.
THE PLACE FROM WHICH I NOW RESPOND IS OVERSTAFFED WITH HEROES GONE...MEN WHO ANSWERED ONE LAST JOB AND DID IT WELL.
AS POLICEMEN WE UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS A CARD DEALT IN OUR HAND...A CARD WE HOPE WE NEVER PLAY BUT WE HOLD IT THERE ANYWAY.
THE CARD IS SOMETHING WE IGNORE AS WE STAND ON THAT THIN BLUE LINE EVERY TOUR...FOR WE KNOW THAT WE ARE THE ONLY PRAYER FOR MANY OUT THERE.
SO REMEMBER AS YOU WIPE YOU TEARS THE JOY I HAVE KNWON THROUGHOUT THE YEARS...AS THE JOB I LOVED TO DO I PRAY THAT THIS THOUGHT WILL SEE YOU THROUGH.

BROTHER, THERE IS NO GREATER LOVE THAN TO LAY DOWN YOUR LIFE FOR ANOTHER...MAY YOU REST IN ETERNAL PEACE.

The sacrifice of your life serves as a grim reminder of the dangers that are confronted on a daily basis by all law enforcement officers. The show of support from the citizens of your area showed the love and respect that many had for you in particular, and for law enforcement in general. Not every one can be a cop. You were obviously one of the best at your profession and your love for policing showed in the courageous manner in which you conducted yourself. May you rest in eternal peace and watch over us. We should also all say a special prayer for our "blue" family members that confronted, and survived, their confrontation with this brutal killer.

It is with a heavy heart that I learn of the murder of another brave officer of the law> I am saddened for the loss the Corr family must endure. We in California have lost 6 California Highway Patrol Officers in just 5 months and we are sickened and shocked by their deaths. We who knew them received much comfort from the reflections left on their memorials. If you are one who took the time to express your sympathies...thank you. To the Corr family, know your hero is with God on patrol and is watching our boys and girls working now. We pray for your comfort when the grief is overwhelming.

To the officers of the New Hartford Police Department: PLease stay strong and proud and be brave but safe and know there are many others who are praying for your safety as your remember Officer Corr...don't ever forget his sacrifice or his name. Make him proud of you. Bless you and yours.

God Bless You Joe. You gave your life protecting your community and we have lost a great HERO.

Officer Corr,
You served your community well and gave the life to protect others. You are a hero. May you rest in peace...you will never be forgotten.

To the Corr Family,
I cryed when my husband told me of this senseless death. No law enforcement family should have to face what you are going through. Please know that all law enforcement families cry with you. We all know what our loved ones do in law enforcement is dangerous, but we pray nothing ever happens. So when it does,to any officer, it takes something from all of us. We are praying for you and hope that you can find strength in your memories to get you through this difficult time. Keep those memories alive for Joe's little girl. My heart just breaks when I think of Officer Corr's wife and daughter. I wish I could take this pain away for you all. He won't be forgotten...He's always with you, watching over you...

Officer Carr, I am so sorry this has happened to you. Once again someone that has no values about life, honor, integrity comes along and tragically takes the life of one who does. We will never understand the why of these awful heartbreaking acts. May your family, friends, co-workers find some comfort and strength knowing that many people all over are holding them up in prayer.
Rest in peace Officer Carr - you are a hero and will not be forgotten
