Thank you for your dedicated service to your community and your department. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May they never forget your faithful service to your community and department and the brave HERO that you were. To the family, friends and co-workers, our heartfelt prayers and sympathies are with you. May God be with you all during this very sorrowful time. Words will never compensate the loss you have suffered. We pray that He now gives you all strength in your time of need. May you find peace in the thought, that we as friends in law enforcement, take this time to lift you up in prayer.
For your act of unselfish bravery and courage Trooper Manion, we salute you. Blessed are the peacemakers

I had the privileged of attending Kevin's funeral service February 22, 2006. It was unbelievable to see the amount of people that showed up to help celebrate the life of a tremendous person. Kevin will be greatly missed in Area 13. I pray everyday for the safety of my fiancée and everyone he works with. We are a family who has lost a brother. My thoughts are with his family who has not only lost a brother but also a son, grandson, and friend. May God be with the Manion family in this painful and traumatic time.

To Kevin's family I offer my deepest sympathy. It is hard to accept when when a brother so young in his prime loses in life under such circumstances. But it is not ours to reason why. We can find confort in knowing that he is in a better place and fullfilling a greater plan now. Kevin, Rest well my brother. We have the watch.
