Ryan was truly one of the "good guys". Always to be counted on, always there, always a friend. When others said no, Ryan said yes.
As a trainee, he used every opportunity to make himself a better Deputy and make his father proud. Ryan embodied what everyone wished to be... a real American Lawman.

I have always had a fascination with BCSO. I have never met a deputy from there or even been in Broward County. But I have been to the Miami area and it is amazing. Another young officer has lost his life. I don't even know what to say. I didn't know you, but I am sure you were a hard and dedicated worker trying to protect the streets in your community. I lost one of my good friends a little over 2 years ago in the line of duty. He was also very young. I'm sure he was there to welcome you and show you the ropes in Heaven.
