May God be with all of Jims family, friends and co-workers during this tragic loss. My dad worked for the Ark. State Police for 30 yrs. I always prayed he would come home safe. He did. But there were times I wondered if he would. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks to all of you officers, especially from Mass., that came to honor this special man that I have only read about.

Heart wrenching; just terrible. This senseless murder is as cold-blooded as they come. May the family of this officer find comfort from those who know and care for this veteran of law enforcement. Please accept my condolences.

As a Student Officer presently attending the 13th MPOC Massachusetts Reading Police Academy Recruit Class my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. As Student Officers we learn from those who have been brave enough to wear the badge before us. There is nothing inside a classroom we will learn that compares to the experience of an Officer that works the street. The media portrays your stop as routine. Let this be a reminder to all Officers and a message to the media that there is no such thing as a routine stop. One never knows whom they are pulling over, and what to expect.
God Bless
