Family, Friends & Fellow Officers Remember...

Such a senseless tragedy. May God bless all the local Officers and thier families and friends for having to endure such pain. The death of the suspect was too kind to such a horrible person, but justice was served. May we all learn to show kindness and compassion for others regardless of race, gender or orientation. We are all in this together. Once again, time will not erase the heartache, but will only ease it. Stay strong, live strong and love strong. Embrace each other and never forget your hero, as we will never forget ours.

I had the chance to meet Officer Sell in August 2004 while visiting Baxter County. He was very nice & polite. This incident was a tragedy for the Gassville Police Department, and Baxter County. Officer Sell, your sacrifice will not be forgotten. My thoughts & prayers go out to your family, the City of Gassville Police Department, and the Baxter County Sheriff's Department. The funeral line was long,

All let their hammers drop.

The slow procession comes,

There's loud salutes from guns.
The graveyard workers shake their heads
"This service is a flop."

Did his duty every day.
Trying to protect us,
Till they took his life away.
