Dear Grandpa, I'm sorry I never got to know you as you were killed when my father, Jack, your son, was only 11 years old. I've only seen a few pictures and heard some stories from family members, but want you to know how proud we all are of you and what you accomplished throughout your life. You would be so proud of your family, especially my dad and my sister, Dawn who so tirelessly pursued haveing your star retired...it took 11 years, but she did it! Love, your granddaughter, Sherry.
