I wishes to offer my deepest condolences to the family of Officer May and the entire East Palo Alto family in blue.
As we still struggle to deal with the death of our officer, Dan Niemi, it pains me to see another one of the Nation's finest loose his life in such a tragic way.
I am somewhat comforted by the fact that your killer was caught and that he will rot in jail for the rest of his life. It does not bring you back to your family but it will keep him from ever harming anyone again.
May you rest in peace and your family find the strength it needs to carry on your good work with the youth of your community.
