Lord,
He was yours to give,
and yours to call home,
please stand by his brothers,
so they don't feel alone,
dry the tears of his family,
so they clearly see:
that he gave his all,
so all could have peace.
Blessed are they,
the children of God,
with heavy hearts,
and honor they trod,
to pay their respects,
to give their salute,
and to ask for your mercy,
on heroes in Blue.
Amen.

Troop, rest easy brother, we have the watch.

BJ you were a fine individual - a great friend, loving husband to Tara, and no doubt a fabulous father. I enjoyed knowing you and my heart is still bleeding with the news of your passing. May God be with your family, you precious baby girl, and loving wife.

Even though i didn't have the honor of knowing Tpr. Zachary, he's still a hero in my book. Everyday you put on the uniform and did a job that so many people fear and don't want to do, but you did this dangerous job with pride and dedication. I just want to say thanks to Trooper Zachary service and dedication that displayed as a Texas Highway Patrolman. America have lost a great trooper and a great perosn that will never be forgotten and will be deeply missed. My deepest sympathies go out the family, friends, and entire Texas Dept. of Public Safety.

In memory of Trooper Zachary.
Thank you sir for making the ultimate sacrafice. We all do this job because we love it. If we wanted to get a pat on the back everyday, we would not be police officers. Myself and my department as a whole thank you for your services and your effort on keeping our Texas highways safe. To yor family, we are proud of you and Billy, and if we can help in any way, let us know, we are all in this together, the brotherhood family.

May God provide comfort to the family of Trooper Zachary during this difficult time. While working in Texas we always had a great working relationship with Texas DPS Troopers and they earned my deep respect with the dangerous job they perform on the isolated Texas highways. All of us in Law Enforcement mourn the loss of Trooper Zachary.

I was very fortunate to know and spend a lot of time with BJ when we were younger. He was like an older brother to my younger brothers and a great role model. They thought the world of him and I did too. We all spent a lot of time togeather in the Church of Christ youth group. For those of you who didn't have the honor of meeting him you missed out! He was such a special friend and I will always love him. I know he'll be watching over Zoe and Tara and Conner and the rest of the family. Rest in peace, Wendy Ward Andrews
