taken from your family so young that they never got to see you grow . being a grandchild of a grandchild of your family is weird but being related to a hero and giving your life for what you thought was right it must run in the family . so proud of you . i just wish i knew more about you .

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 137th anniversary yer of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. I am so sorry that you were robbed of your life at such a young age. How your parents must have grieved for you! Rest In Peace
