Rob,
It's hard to believe that I am never going to see those dimples smiling back at me. I will never forget our talks and how you always told me to "be safe." We are all going to miss you dearly but, you will always hold a place in our hearts.

Some only hope to leave an imprint on society when we pass. It is obvious the impact you have had not only on friends but on the larger community. Through your example, your goodness, your smile, you have inspired each of us to be better people. To be kinder. To be honorable. To give back. To have passion.
My deepest condolences to the Nguyen family. I hope some comfort can be found in knowing Rob was not just appreciated by few but by many.
Rest in Peace Rob.

Rob, you are missed greatly each and every day. Your love of being a police officer showed in everything that you did. You took care of your your family, friends and citizens in Jersey City like you always wanted to and now I know you are looking over and protecting all of us.
I will always remember all of our talks and your Chinese food cravings at all hours of the night, that you had to have, during poker in the basement with Toney and the boys. I miss it already.
Thank you for everything you have done for us and being in our lives.
Luv ya,

Rob,
You stand as a beacon for us all to remember. We are saddened at the loss of you; for ourselves because we were not ready to part with you, but we find peace in knowing that you are truly in a better place. We will miss seeing your smile and your dimples. Know that you are loved and greatly missed.
Miss Me, But Let Me Go
Author Unknown
When I come to the end of the road,
and the sun has set for me.
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little—but not too long,
and not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that was once shared.
Miss me, but let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take, and each must go alone.
It’s all a part of the master’s plan, a step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart, go to the friends we know.
Bear your sorrow in good deeds. Miss me, but let me go.

We are so sorry to here about your tragic loss of a loved one in law enforcement. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you in support. As we personally know, sometimes there is little comfort that comes from words. Keep focused as you can on the memories and joyous times for these things may bring you comfort. Rely heavily on family, friends, and other law enforcement. Honor your fallen loved one, for their sacrifice will not be forgotten.
