Family, Friends & Fellow Officers Remember...

On this actual anniversary of your death and during this Christmas time I will reiterate my previous reflection left a few short weeks ago and say that your service and sacrifice are always remembered by your law enforcement brethren. 15 years have gone by and we have not forgotten you. Each year we attend Police Week in DC and celebrate your birthday after visiting your name on the wall. Every Christmas Night I have the honor to give a prayer service for you and Shawn on the bridge. Even after 15 years it still hurts like hell. You became an adopted son always at my house after academy class with Chris. I still have the marks on my wrists from you two using me as a cuffing dummy!

I look around at pictures of you and my heart still stops. I remember that day like it was yesterday. Standing on the bridge, wishing and praying it wasn't true. You were always there for me when I needed a friend to lean on. I miss you Rob. Vinny and I speak of you often. All our lunches and dinners during orange alert. Vinny's 40th birthday party.
