On behalf of the Wellington Police Department we send our sympathies to Deputy Oliff's family as well as his family at the department. We have all been there before while directing traffic when that vehicle get a little to close. It is sad to hear that this time the vehicle actually struck and killed a young officer.

May God Bless the family and his department at this horrible and trying time.

Brother Oliff,

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And the rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Respectfully,
You’re Brothers in Blue
