I was deeply saddened to read about the loss of yet another peace officer. I know that no words will suffice but I want the friends, family and fellow deputies to know that there are folks all across this country that will lift you up in prayer before the Almighty.
May each of experience the eternal love and endless blessings that our Lord and Savior has to offer.

The Brotherhood of the Badge.
Jason was so proud to be a part of such a sacred brotherhood. To know Jason you would have known he would do anything for you, and if you were Law Enforcement or any Public Safety Officer, he would go to the end the earth for you. Jason truly touched everyones life. It hurts to know he will not be here with us to brighten our days, share in our laughter and to lean on when we are lonely. It comforts me to know Jason is with God in such a beautiful, loving and happy place. From Heaven Jason will protect us all and all we have to do is think of him to feel his Love brighten our days, to know he will still share our laughter and to lean on when we need a strong caring shoulder.
If Love Could Have Saved You,
You Would Not Be Gone.

I will miss you partner.
We all miss you...

This is the second time I have left a message this week for a young fallen officer who has left the world much too soon and left so much behind. My heart aches each time I come to this site because I know the pain and confusion that is running through the minds of the families. No words can express it to others who have not experienced a similar loss, and no consolation can bring you peace. A line of duty death is like no other, I'm convinced, but it brings with it a huge family of fellow survivors who have been walking this journey for however long since they lost their own LEO.

Jason,
Thank you for your unselfish, sacrificial service. You will never be forgotten in the law enforcement world. I hope your department remembers the price you paid each day and does much to keep your memory and integrity alive.

To Jason's family, friends, and fiancee,
No one else can possibly understand how difficult this time will be for you. You knew him on such a personal level and it is the small things you will miss, I'm sure. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your local COPS chapter for assistance and comfort. My heart especially goes out to the fiancee, for my own fiance was killed in the line of duty a little over 2 1/2 years ago. A piece of my heart is missing and will never be the same. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you'd like to talk or laugh or cry or whatever. I can be reached by e-mailing either the President or Secretary of Georgia COPS.

My thoughts and prayers of comfort and strength go out to all those Deputy Oliff left behind including his coworkers. May God bless you during this holiday season especially when it feels like the thing you most want has been ripped away far too soon.

Oliff, since the morning I found out what had happened I cant stop thinking about you. You were by best friend, partner, and the best Police officer I have ever known. You always made sure your family and friends had what they needed before you did. I will always cherish the BBQ's, gathering with the boys, and searching for golf balls at night. You made me a better person and Officer and I will never forget our friendship and loyalty towards each other. May God bless you and I will see you one day and we can patrol the streets of Heaven together. To Holly, Debbie and family, and the Oliff family my prayers will always be with you and all members of the Brazoria County Sheriff's Department. Oliff I will write again and watch after me on the streets. Rest in Peace.

To the Fiancee of Jason Oliff -
May I offer my prayers and condolences to your on the loss of you're fiancee. I know what you're pain is like because I experienced similar pain almost 2 1/2 years ago. I lost my fiancee who was 21 and only on the force for a couple of months. Every loss is different - but when its a fiancee its so hard to comprehend. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers, and will continue to be watched over bu Jason I am sure. I will be thinking of you in the weeks and months to come.
To Jason's coworkers and friends, may you feel Jason's presence from above where ever you go.

Oliff was my partner, my friend and a big part of the wrecking crew. He had my back even when I was scared to deal with situations on the street, but he's the type of guy to look people in the eye and not be scared of them. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody. Even when you're spirits were down he would make a comment to make you laugh. Be at peace up there partner. We'll take care of your family. You're memory will be with me forever. God bless.

I didn’t sleep last night you were on my mind. I watched over you until life flight took you away. I made sure your fiancé got your ring.
I already miss working with you. Your sense of humor would make the shift go by. Sometimes I would laugh so hard I would start to cry. There will be no more “name that tune” as we waited to walk out on that road. Your job is completed here. Now you’ll have to report for duty on those streets of gold. I will never forget you. Now it’s your turn to watch over me.

Sorry to hear about your loss. My prayer's are with you, all the way from Decatur, Illinois. I have worked in Law Enforcement for 5 years now and I too, recently lost a friend on duty. She was struck by a drunk driver and the other driver was DOA also. I know the pain and suffering that Dep. Oliff's friends, family and colleages are going through right now. Please continue to remember the joyous and wonderful times that you spent with Jason. Know in your hearts that God has another angel now and Jason is watching over and help protect all of us, just as he did here on Earth. Jason was once in your lives, but forever in your hearts! My heart goes out to his fiance. May God be with you each day and know that Jason will live on in your heart! If you need anything, please feel free to contact me. The Macon County Sheriff's Dept. in Decatur, IL knows how to get ahold of me! Rest in Peace brother!
