Thank you for allowing Officer Nava to serve the City of Fort Worth. It deeply saddens me to see Outstanding Officer pass.

Thank you for giving so unselfishly of your husband. Let us remember Officer Nava for the excellent work he performed for the city.

Now that Officer Nava has passed remember he is with you all the time, watching and protecting his family, as well as all of his brothers and sisters he served with.

Officer Nava is now with all of his brothers and sisters that has been watching over him since he started with the department. He will ascend to Heaven as God calls him to come forward, and St. Peter will open the gates and all of the officers there before him will rise an welcome him home.

The family and all of Ft. Worth's finest will remain in our prayers.

Saint Michael, heaven's glorious commissioner of police, who once so neatly and successfully cleared God's premises of all its undesirables, look with kindly and professional eyes on your earthly force.Give us cool heads, stout hearts, and uncanny flair for investigation and wise judgement.Make us the terror of burglars, the friend of children and law-abiding citizens, kind to strangers, polite to bores, strict with law-breakers and impervious to temptations. You know, Saint Michael, from your own experiences with the devil that the police officer's lot on earth is not always a happy one; but your sense of duty that so pleased God, your hard knocks that so surprised the devil, and your angelic self-control give us inspiration. And when we lay down our night sticks, enroll us in your
heavenly force, where we will be as proud to guard the throne of God as we have been to guard the city of all
the people.

Hank we're going to miss you!I had no idea it was you when the call came over the radio. I couldn't believe it when I rolled up and Sarge told me! You'd be proud of how many officers showed up at the scene,,Hank they were all over, waiting to help anyway they could! They took care of business too Hank! The work was trying sometimes, but you always had a smile, I'll remember that sense of humor always. We had a great time working the Laotion New Year celebrations didn't we! I called Lt Aldridge at New Orleans PD and told her what happened,,,The Officers of District 2 are really upset. They all send their prayers for you and the family! Take care now Hank! We all love you!

My sypmathies to Officer Nava's family and colleagues. We just had the memorial service here in Rhode Island for another Texas officer shot in Dallas. This came too soon. I have said before that I would have glady traded places with officers who go down in the line of duty. Although I have had my affiliations with police agencies, I would serve every day if I could. May God grant him eternal peace and bless his grieving family.

Sgt. William L. Farrell
