My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

I am so glad you are finally being honored. Thank you for your bravery. I know Heaven is fun up there... I bet you heroes get special parties and everything. :-) THANK YOU for your sacrifice. It means just as much (in my heart) now as it did in 1927.
