Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 72nd anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

I came upon this page while searching my name on the internet. It really gives you pause to see something like this. How many times my name could have been listed like this! The more life changes, the more it remains the same. There but for the grace of God, go I! Rest in peace, brother.

I began a law enforcement career in the early 1980's as a dispatcher later retiring with 24 years of service. An officer killed in the line of duty whenever or however it happens has a huge effect on the entire law enforcement community. I am proud to say that the non-profit organization - Historic Mesquite, Inc will be featuring this downed officer in an upcoming Midnight Meander. He was buried in one of the City of Mesquite cemetaries and it's an honor that he was laid to rest in our fine city. Although so many years have passed - it is never to late to honor our fallen brothers.
