Jack Bailey does have a grave with a marker in the Helena Cemetery. He is located in a section with other family members.
His wife was three months pregnant at the time with a girl.
She would later be called "Jack" as well.
She passes away in the early 1960's in San Antonio, Texas.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 123rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
