Your assailants may have escaped justice here on earth but they surely faced a higher court and justice in a different place. Rest in peace knowing that no passage of time will ever erase your service and sacrifice.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 97th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

I hope one day to meet one of your family members at a meeting of our NorCal COPS chapter.

Patrolman Charles Berry,

We don't know the full circumstances of your death, however we do know that you died making an arrest. This is, ultimately, regardless of the many changes in law enforcement this day, the essence of our duty. To have died in such a manner is in the service of others. This in itself deems you a hero. Courage, Dedication and Valor speak for you now. They declare you a Hero among Heros. As you dwell among the legion of law officers on the evergreen shores of eternity, who also gave their life in the service of others, know that even today we remember your sacrifice. Well done, patrolman...well done.
