Some people will say it seems like yesterday that they heard your voice, felt your warm touch and saw your smile, but for those that love your dearly, it has felt like a lifetime. Kay, I am constantly stunned when I think of you and have to remember that you are gone. Each time I do, it is like a new pain. When I see the gnomes in my yard or look at the angel candle holder, I remember you and your sweet, slow smile. I never did get to give you your Christmas gift that year....and how many times I thought of how busy we stayed and how it kept driving the times we could/would get together further and further apart.

I miss you and will never ever forget you. When I see the color purple, I remember you and smile.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
