I would like to express my condolences to the family of Mr. Cabral. I have very fond memories of Bob roaming the halls of Case High, some 20 years ago. He always had something nice to say. This man was a gentleman, a tireless volunteer and was dedicated to the youth of Swansea. The world would be a better place with more people in the mold of Bobby Cabral. Sir, you will be
missed by the thousands of lives you touched.

I knew Bobby since I was a young girl -he and my step-dad worked together. They were also friends and softball teamates. We spent many mornings at the Cornerstone Bakery eating breakfast after a game together. When I got older, moved away and started my own life. Bobby would still ask my mom about me and how I was doing whenever they'd bump into each other. He even met me and my husband for dinner a few years ago when he was in D.C. for a D.A.R.E conference. He was just that kind of special person - he always remembered and always cared. His sons have lost an amazing father and man. Swansea has lost one of its most dedicated officers.

I was deeply saddened to read the memorial for Sergeant Robert Cabral. To lose a 26 year veteran is such a shame.
I would like for the family, friends and co-workers to know that there are folks all across this country that care very deeply and lift them in prayer before the Almighty.
May God keep safe from harm the men and women of the Swansea Police Department.
