George Luther Berrey is my Second Great Grandfather. I've been doing family history lately and stumbled across this page. I'm glad to hear that he's still remembered and honored today. I'm also glad to see some lost relatives on here!

I see from above notes that Paul LaRue Berrey who I always knew as 'Booty' was my uncle and I got my middle name from him. I did not know that his police background went back to his father. Paul 'Booty' was the brother to Milton Berrey who was married to my Grandmother Maria. I lived with them off and on for several years. I would love to hear from any of his family.

First i'd like to thank you all for remembering this man. Your family still remembers you and your son Paul Larue Berrey...who also fell in the line of duty as a montgomery police officer. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
